Terms & Conditions of Kitchen Supply Direct, Inc.
Prices Subject to change without prior notification. If order total differs from web total you will be contacted to confirm other than sales tax that we may be required to collect and up to a 15% increase in shipping costs. All pictures are best available
at time item is added to our website and may not accurately reflect product.
Pictures may also contain optional accessories. We use care and caution
when adding items to our website, taking information from our manufacturers and
suppliers and presenting to you as accurately as we can. Since all items
are added by humans, errors and omissions can occur from time to time. If
you see any discrepancies, potentially incorrect information or have any other
questions about products we have for sale, please contact customer service at

is our goal to provide you the best information about foodservice equipment and
supplies available on the Internet and we want to correct any incorrect
information as quickly as practical.
Please inspect shipments carefully before signing for them. If you are displeased with anything about your shipment PLEASE CONTACT
us immediately. We permit returns only when the manufacturer accepts returns from us. Even if returns are allowed by the manufacturer, there are no returns after 15 days from shipping date. In addition, a return authorization and a copy of the invoice must be included with all returned merchandise. All merchandise must be unused and in its original packaging. Non stocked items are returned only per the manufacturers terms and when allowed may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% or more plus costs for shipping and return. Once you sign for a product free and clear with a freight or small package carrier our ability to file a claim for the product is eliminated and it is your responsibility to file the claim and make arrangements for settlement with the carrier.
It is your responsibility to inspect the packages carefully before signing for them, including opening the package to make sure there is no concealed damage. We repeat, once a customer or their representative signs for a package free and clear we are unable to take responsibility for any damage to the product. We will assist you in filing the claim with the carrier in the manner we can.
If a return authorization is provided to you, the customer is responsible for the return shipping and any damages that may occur to the product during the return shipping.
Shipping costs are estimated. Some large and heavy items do not ship via UPS and an appropriate freight transportation will be arranged. If you are ordering products and the estimated cost is $0.00, the weight or size of a product, or the combination of all of the products you are purchasing is larger than a single package that can be shipped via UPS. We will contact you to arrange for shipping that meets your needs. We will contact you in the event that costs are great than 15 percent higher than stated during the ordering process to confirm your order.
We do not provide any warranty for the products other than that provided by the manufacturer. Unless noted, all products are new and do come with the manufacturers warranty if used in accordance with the manufacturers guidelines. Some products are commercial use only and are not warranted for use in a residence. Some products are residential only and are not warranted for use in a commercial environment. Contact customer service to obtain a copy of the manufacturers warranty if you have questions.
Order Status
We automatically provide tracking information for orders that ship direct from our warehouse in Marietta GA. For orders that ship direct from
the manufacturers warehouse we may not receive tracking informaton but are happy to obtain it for you upon request. In the unlikely event you wish to
cancel an order contact customer service. If items have shipped, or have been ordered and are en route to our warehouse for shipping to you they may not be cancelled.
All cancellations must be acknowledged by us in writing to you.
Privacy Statement
We will not sell or provide our customer list or information provided by you to others, except as authorized by you or required by law.

Sales Tax
Laws regarding the collection of sales tax vary by location and undergo
frequent change in content as well as interpretation by governmental agencies.
KitchenSupplyDirect.com and any parent companies and/or subsidiaries will
always make every effort to fully comply with the law and governmental
regulations. .
Some products are shipped direct from the manufacturer to the end user. Some manufacturers sales agreements require
that sales tax be collected on any products they ship direct to the customer in
certain states. Examples include but are not limited to Blodgett Oven
requiring sales tax collection for products shipped direct within the 15 states
that Blodgett has manufacturing or office space in. Another example is
Beverage Air requiring collection of sales tax for any products shipped direct
within any of the 50 US states. A third example are products imported from
Canada, such as Bake-Max where sales tax collection is necessitated by import
regulations. Sales tax will be added to the order total and collected in
these instances.
Kitchen Supply Direct, Inc. does not make the tax law, or set the sales tax
collection requirements of our suppliers. By ordering with us you grant us the right to collect any required sales tax whether indicated on our website automated invoice or not. You may request a fax or emailed copy of the final invoice that reflects all product, tax and shipping costs.

Q. Do you sell to individuals or restaurants?
A.We market to restaurants but are happy to sell to both individuals and restaurants. While we do carry products that are suitable for both commercial and residential applications, individual consumers must be aware that some products such as ranges designed for constant heavy duty use in a restaurant do not have insulation that is typical on residential ranges. Commercial ranges installed in a residence may void the manufacturers warranty, or may in some cases void the home insurance. Products designed and identified as residential are not designed to stand up to the rigors of constant use in a restaurant. Use of residential products in a restaurant, catering or other commercial foodservice applicaiton may invalidate the warranty from the manufacturer. It is the consumers responsibility to understand the warranty, insurance and proper installation and application of products purchased.

Shipping Policy
We ship most of our products via UPS, using their standard rates. However, a few of our larger items exceed UPS's weight limits; therefore these items are shipped by a freight company. Please understand that the shipping amount calculated on our site is as accurate an estimate as we can provide
in an automated manner. However, the actual shipping costs may differ slightly. If the
actual shipping cost is greater than the estimate provided to you we will
contact you and obtain an approval before processing your order. We
encourage you to obtain a shipping estimate from customer service prior to
quoting shipping costs to your customer.
Free Shipping: In order to offer the absolute lowest prices to our customers,
KitchenSupplyDirect.com offers a select group of items that have free shipping. This free shipping applies to regular ground shipping within the 48 contiguous US states only. Other charges will apply if you want these items shipped next day air, 2nd day air, or if a lift gate is required or if the freight company charges additional for residential delivery or other charges.
Free shipping - when identified for Manitowoc products applies to
Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee,
South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, District
of Columbia, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky.
For Manitowoc, we
offer free shipping with a fuel surcharge to other states as follows: $80 fuel surcharge to Pennsylvania,
New Jersey, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island,
Connecticut, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota.
$125 fuel surcharge to California, Arizona,
Washington, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, New Mexico,
Utah, Nevada and Wyoming. Call or contact us via email for quotes to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and
US Territories.
For True and Turbo Air Free Shipping does not include residential delivery, liftgate delivery or any accessorial charges, including fuel surcharges we are charged by freight carriers in addition to the base freight charges. We will advise of any potential freight related charges prior to charging you.
The following map shows approximate transit times for UPS Ground delivery. Click on the image for a larger version. Times shown are guidelines and are not guaranteed. When
estimating delivery time you must take into account the typical number of days before a product ships even when using expedited shipping methods such as Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air or Three Day Select. We do not
guarantee delivery by a particular day unless provided to you in writing specifically stating a "guaranteed delivery date." UPS does not deliver on weekends and weekend days do not count in the number of days
before arrival.
For example, if you order an item that typically ships in 5-10 days requesting Next Day Air delivery the item will still ship from the warehouse in 5-10 days. We will ship it next day air. If it ships on a Friday the item will be delivered the following Monday. If you have a specific date you need a product
call our customer service department and let them work to see if they can meet the date you need.

If you request assistance with restaurant design we may provide your information to a designer that is not an employee of Kitchen Supply Direct. If you request information for leases and / or financing please recognize that you are contacting the bank or financial institution indicated and not Kitchen Supply Direct, Inc.
Availability Policy
We have over 25,000 items in stock and ready to ship the same day. We have more than 100,000 products that ship direct from the manufacturer or are placed on order from the manufacturer to our warehouse only after you order from us. For urgent items please contact customer service for an estimated availability date.
If your item is in stock, it will generally be shipped on the same day that you order, as long as the order is received by 3pm Eastern time. Orders placed after 3pm will be shipped on the next business day.
Unless indicated as in stock, most items are not available for immediate shipping and may have a lead time prior to our shipping to you. Once we place our purchase order to obtain the products you ordered we may not be able to cancel the order, or if cancelled there may be a charge up to the full amount of the product price.
For most orders we receive a notification from the manufacturer that your item has shipped and we will charge your credit card at the time the product ships. For a few items we do not receive a notification at shipment, or if the manufacturer does not permit cancellation or return of orders we will charge your credit card for the order
immediately upon placing your order with our supplier and use it as a deposit until your order is shipped from our supplier.
The amount of time for your order to reach its destination depends on the shipping method selected by you during the checkout process. We utilize the UPS QuantumView shipment monitoring system. If we have your valid email address you should receive an email notification from UPS letting you know when they pick up the package, if there are any exceptions to a normal delivery along the way, and a confirmation email when your package has been delivered. If your ISP requires you to provide valid email addresses in order to receive email you may want to permit both sales@kitchensupplydirect.com and quantumviewnotify@ups.com
Customer Instructions and Responsibilities for Freight Deliveries
- Inspect the entire shipment for visible damage prior to accepting the shipment, and note any damage on the delivery ticket / bill of lading before the delivery person leaves. Refuse delivery of any items with damage. If damage is found after driver has left - customer is responsible for filing claim with freight carrier and we are unable to accept any liability.
- You are responsible for having someone present to receive the equipment. If an employee, subcontractor, neighbor or anyone else at your location signs for the package you accept the responsibility for the delivery as if you signed for it.
- You are responsible for any redelivery fees or fees associated with returned packages that are undeliverable if you or someone else is not available to receive shipments when delivery is attempted.
- Verify the number of packages delivered with the packing slip provided.
- Unpack your order immediately and inspect for hidden or concealed damage.
- Should any damage be discovered, retain the shipping carton and any inner packaging intact, request inspection immediately from the carrier as well as make a written request to the carrier. Hidden or concealed damage must be reported and an inspection requested within 3 business days.
- If there is any damage (visible damage with item refused or concealed damage) then contact
customer service at 770-771-6161 to advise of the damage. Please have your order number, shipping information and any available tracking number ready so we can assist in the process if possible.
Do not attempt to return any item to KitchenSupplyDirect.com without a return authorization. Unauthorized returns cannot be processed and all costs are the customers responsibility.

What does your signature mean on the delivery receipt/bill of lading?
Your signature (or that of your representative) indicates that all items identified on the delivery receipt/bill of lading are “RECEIVED IN GOOD CONDITION EXCEPT AS NOTED BY” the person that signs the document. This means that you are relieving the manufacturer, the freight carrier and Kitchen Supply Direct, Inc. of any liability for the damages. Once you sign the delivery receipt/bill of lading without noting any damage we have no method of holding the freight carrier liable for damages.
Don’t be unnecessarily rushed. When the products are being delivered you do need to check the products while the driver is still there. The driver may be insisting that he needs to leave immediately so just sign the form and then file any claims later. We have noticed that the more urgent the driver seems to get the form signed and to move on to his next delivery, the more likely it is that the products are damaged. Inspect the products and note any potential damage on the delivery receipt/bill of lading.
